This group focuses on developing communication, attention & listening skills, pre-reading skills and concept development.
The Foundation Stage prepares for all future learning by supporting, fostering, promoting and developing these skills in children.The Foundation Stage curriculum is organised into six areas of learning:
Personal, social and emotional development; Communication, language and literacy; number concepts and counting; Knowledge and understanding of the world; Physical development and Creative development.
This is for children who will be turning 4 and 5 in the school year September 2009-2010.
